She is also set to star in the forthcoming ‘Motown Review’ – a worldwide tour of Motown legends such as Lionel Ritchie, The Commodores, Smokey Robinson and The Jacksons.
In April 2008 Charlene wrote and recorded her first set of demos in ten years. So impressed was legendary Nashville-based producer Stuart Colman that he has started work on producing the album using Nashville’s finest musicians. The album ‘Spirit Of A Woman’ is set to be released in the autumn.
well as her live work, Charlene has home tutored her two daughters – now aged 18 & 21. Her children come with her when she is working in the UK and the family have invested in a Sixteenth Century schoolhouse in Suffolk from which to base themselves while her English born second husband stays in LA due to his work commitments as a lawyer.
